Bikers 4 Obama is a group of supporters inside of the motorcycle community sharing a common interest which is to support the agenda of Barack Obama, President of the United States of America.
One of the things you may have noticed about the people that got involved with the Obama campaign is that they were drawn to the message that we are our brother's keeper. We are a community, and the best way that we can improve things is to realize that as a community we are an extended family. In order to work towards creating that reality, please get involved in your community.
"This victory alone is not the change we seek —
it is only the chance for us to make that change."— President Barack Obama, Election Night, 2008
Organizing for America, the successor organization to Obama for America, is building on the movement that elected President Obama by empowering communities across the country to bring about our agenda of change.
In 2008, millions of Americans got involved in the political process — many for the first time — to fight for a new kind of politics and a better future for our country. Those voices enabled a new beginning — a chance to pursue the real world change our country needs. Now it's time for our movement to rise again, stand with President Obama, and make that promise a reality.
There are many ways to get involved:
Joining grassroots OFA campaigns to support the President's agenda. Online, on the phone, on doorsteps and in town halls in communities across the country, we're building the bottom-up support that makes real change possible.
Spreading the word to friends and neighbors about the President's approach on the big issues facing our nation, like health care, energy and education. Nothing is more powerful than your voice in your community.
Serving our community in ways big and small. Rebuilding America starts today.
Connecting with other supporters to form strong local groups, ready to take on whatever challenges we face.
Supporting leaders who share our values and are ready to carry forward the fight for change .
Our task is enormous. To succeed, we'll need all Americans, no matter how they may have voted, to join us in the work ahead. If we set aside the old politics that have kept us apart, there's no limit to what we can achieve.
Together, we can create a sustainable and independent clean energy economy. We can provide all American children the first rate education they deserve. And we can finally guarantee high-quality, affordable health care to every American man, woman and child.
Last November, the American people sent Washington a clear mandate for change. But when the polls close, the true work of citizenship begins. That's what Organizing for America is all about. Now, in this crucial time, our voice once again has extraordinary power. Let's use it.
In case any of you are interested, Newmax.com is conducting a survey on the President's health care reform entitled "do you support Obama's health care plan" the link is: http://news1.newsmax.com/obama-healthcare/?promo_code=9A07-1. Wow, Black. They wrote that on the bathroom stall? Somebody needs to be fired or investigated by the Feds for some BS like that. I agree with u 110% on ur comments and it's amazing how free some of these people feel about their disrespect. I think we should also bear in mind that although the media is giving this perception that a lot of people oppose the President, it is not true. McCain got 40 some odd percent of the vote, so this is approximately the amount of people we see protesting healthcare reform really tough. These blind and ignorant asses have it set firmly in their mind that they will oppose anything our President proposes, just for GP, even if it benefits them. Who will benefit from cheaper healthcare rates, less paperwork and red tape, more comprehensive care, and a government option backed by the full faith and credit of the US? Every valid citizen, even the bigoted racists. So, be ready Black to defend with the mind as well and tell them that we will not stand for the same BS.
I AM REALLY, REALLY FED UP WITH ALL THE DAMN RHETORIC SPEWING FROM THE REPUBLICANS AND ALL THE OTHER PRESIDENT OBAMA HATERS! I CAN’T EVER REMEMBER A TIME IN THE HISTORY OF THIS COUNTY (AT LEAST SINCE I’VE BEEN OLD ENOUGH TO UNDERSTAND WHAT’S GOING ON HERE) WHEN THE PEOPLE OF THIS COUNTY HAVE SHOWN SUCH DISRESPECT TO AN ELECTED PRESIDENT. THE MEDIA REPORTS EVERY LITTLE NASTY WHINE THESE PEOPLE MAKE...AND WOULD SOMEONE PLEASE TELL McCAIN THE RACE IS OVER AND HE LOST BIG TIME!!!
I AM READY TO TAKE A RIDE TO WASHINGTON DC AND LET THEM KNOW PRESIDENT OBAMA DOES NOT STAND ALONG, THAT HE HAS LOYAL SUPPORTERS WHO BELIEVE THAT HE IS DOING WHAT’S BEST FOR ALL AMERICANS ESPECIALLY THOSE OF US WHO NEEDS IT THE MOST! NOT THE RICH AND THE POWERFUL WHO CAN PAY FOR HEATH CARE NO MATTER THE COST, OR THOSE WHO DO NOT NEED UNEMPLOYMENT EXTENSIONS, MORTGAGE LOAN MODIFICATIONS, LOAN FORGIVENESS, ETC.
TODAY ON MY JOB SOMEONE WROTE ON THE WALL OF THE MENS BATHROOM “SAVE AMERICA...KILL OBAMA” TO HIM ALL AND ANYONE ELSE WHO THINKS LIKE THIS, I LIKE TO SAY “NOT ON MY WATCH” THIS TIME WE WON’T TAKE YOUR BULL SITTING DOWN! NOR WILL WE FORGIVE YOU AS WE’VE DONE SO MANY, MANY TIMES BEFORE.
IF YOU GET THE IMPRESSION I’M MAD AS HELL, YOU’RE RIGHT! AND I AM READY, WILLING AND ABLE TO FIGHT IF I HAVE TO I JUST HOPE I CAN COUNT ON YOU.

Harvard University Announcement
Harvard University announced that from now on undergraduate students from low-income families will pay no tuition. In making the announcement, Harvard's president Lawrence H.. Summers said,"When only ten percent of the students in elite higher education come from families in the lower half of the income distribution, we are not doing enough. We are not doing enough in bringing elite higher education to the lower half of the income distribution. "If you know of a family earning less than $60,000 a year with an honor student graduating from high school soon, Harvard University wants to pay the tuition.
